Self Portrait II - Two-pencil

Time taken - about 15 minutes? Didn't time this one but it was quickish.


If you've never done a two-pencil drawing before it's a great exercise. I find it loosens me up and because it's a very messy process I don't worry too much about the shape and getting it perfect, and that reduces any stress and makes it easier to get right.

You hold both pencils in one hand (or both pens or both brushes, or a mix of these) and draw as normal. You can use your fingers to angle the pencils inwards to get the lines closer together.
